Nice little encounter with a young female moose that was shedding her winter coat. She was very thin from the hard days of winter, but spring is here and there's no shortage of nourishment for he... Nice little encounter with a young female moose that was shedding her winter coat. She was very thin from the hard days of winter, but spring is here and there's no shortage of nourishment for her to bulk up over the coming spring and summer months. She was very chill and calm.. even sitting down twice. Better pics could have been possible by spending an hour or two with her, but it was best to just leave her be.
